De acuerdo con Ricardo Gioria, gerente de Biotecnolog\u00eda y Fitopatolog\u00eda de Sakata, \u00abse trata de una enfermedad de gran relevancia en regiones de clima tropical y subtropical. La bacteria <em>Ralstonia solanacearum<\/em> es un habitante natural del suelo. En condiciones favorables, el pat\u00f3geno coloniza el sistema vascular, provocando la obstrucci\u00f3n de los vasos conductores y causando s\u00edntomas iniciales de marchitamiento de las hojas m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes durante las horas de mayor temperatura, con posible recuperaci\u00f3n por la noche. A medida que avanza la infecci\u00f3n, se observa el amarilleo de las hojas, el marchitamiento irreversible y, finalmente, la muerte de la planta\u00bb, explica.<\/p>\n<p>La reciente confirmaci\u00f3n la hizo sobre el terreno <u>Darwin Samaniego<\/u>, Representante de Ventas de Sakata del Sur de Ecuador y cont\u00f3 con la colaboriaci\u00f3n de <a href=\"https:\/\/andinaseed.com\/andina23\/index.php\/tec\/ing-javier-rosero\">Javier Rosero<\/a>, representante comercial de Andina Seed.
